Cloudy Bay Lagoon beach

Beaches on Bruny Island are some the best white shell sand beaches in Tasmania, most of which are reasonably accessable by road.  Others are at the end of short tracks and well signed.  Below are a selection, with map locations.  Click on the images to enlarge.

Adventure Bay one of the most popular beaches on the Island.  Safe for swimming especially in the 'Quiet Corner Area'. Shops, toilets at the centre.  Click here for  map of Adventure bay and its beaches.  The bay actually extends right out past the 'Neck' although, to walk right along requires a couple of walks around promantaries.

Killora Beach on North Bruny . Turn left at the CWA Hall on the Dennes Point Rd just outside Barnes Bay - Follow this coast road.  Magnificent beach.  Information Point  Click here for a map of Killora Beach

Cloudy Bay Beach at the lower end of South Bruny Island. Great sand dunes, miles of unbroken sands and, to the western end of the beach (turn Right from the car park) one of the best surfing areas in Australia. Drive to Lunawanna and turn left at the 'T' junction.   Click here for a map of the cloudy Bay area
